Unfortunately we have recently seen an increase in reports of burglary across the Ward.

We all hate burglars and want to see them locked up so please take a minute to read this advice and take note of all that applies to you…

Keep your property looking occupied if you go out by leaving a couple of lights on

Keep valuables out of sight and away from windows

Keep windows and doors locked and secure

Consider a Ring Door Bell or cctv

Consider security lighting front side and rear

Consider an alarm

Set up a whatsapp group or similar amongst neighbours

Be cautious of posting social media posts advertising holidays / days out etc
